Global Agenda
They come to us naturally, as if otherwise, and we regard them as true in general, as a transparent reflection of what actually happens. Once in us, we are agitated – many times –, enraged or afflicted – often – and sometimes drunk. Old or new, we have learned that news is essential to live.
We set out to look for them. “So, what do you say today?” we think and turn on television – less radio – or turn to the internet – to newspapers, less and less…, feeling the thrust of an ever-renewed curiosity. We believe it is absolutely necessary to have accurate and continuous knowledge of all the things that happen in the world, and withdrawal syndrome can sound to us if we have to spend a while without news.
We have such everyday news, we feel so much about ourselves, that we rarely think about how they occur – they manufacture – who, why, and what makes us so thirsty when we run out of news.
Therefore, information, and often new ones, are not natural phenomena, such as rain or sun, although they have become so common. They often don't count everything that happens, and everything that counts isn't happening, at least, as they've said.
Surprisingly, television broadcasts similar, in many cases identical, reports in different countries and languages at the same time. I am not referring to day-to-day events, which also treat them in a similar way, but to the unspeakable news accompanying the news. It would seem that the world's news agenda is being governed by someone, transmitting to all the sites and from the same perspective certain information.
I will not tell you that to live without new news or news, but to remember that all the news we acquire in a natural way is not always so natural or so new. And so, the sources to diversify as much as possible, to trust others like this magazine, rather than in giant stockings, and sometimes try to live without a new hole. Because we're always going to be aware of the things that are really important.
And they don't depend on social media. Two women, Mari Luz Esteban and Anna Gabriel, are accused of warning them of the negative influence that social networks can have on political reflection, in their own agility. They're both people who are committed to both the immediate environment and to more distant realities, and they don't seem to live outside the world.
