An amazing book that responds on paper to the paper crisis. This is not a poetry from the aesthetic point of view, you can read by looking at the meaning, you can read, if you can't, to notice its record richness, its beautiful image inflation: “I have erased a poem./ All your words and also the intervals between the letters./ It was full of cultism,/ original expressions,/ references, citations.// Deleted./ I have refused to do so by pressing the delete key firmly, without pity./ Rhetorical figuration,/ false intellectuality,/ do not possess, dirty ego.// I erased the poem,/ the shame flush the cheeks/ and fi until you freeze.// Have you ever found yourself in the intention of poetry/ and in the reason of being/ about to reflect?/ Yes, too close in addition./ But fortunately,/ this is not poetry.” Therefore, Maleski begins by denying the book, warning that what the reader will find here is not conventional.

Or maybe you would say that poetry is a hammer, because Maleski's concern is not just about literature, but that it turns literature into a way of thinking, above all, to talk about the Basque, about time, about love. “Optical fiber has connected us/ but we prefer words of love/ to the ear.// We have purchased the era of communication,/ but we have to look to the horizon, to hear what our mind tells us.”

In this sense, poetry gives a certain calmness to what social media doesn't give it so much creative or creative work. However, it is noted that the two – twitter and advertising – are part of their lives: it is instantaneous This is not poetry, like a tweet, and, on the other hand, as conveying a message, its main concern at all times.

From this combination originates in poems, suggestive like haikus, modern images and in the same eternal way: “He makes group portraits of Japanese teenagers./ With a Nokia.” In this sense, the “Advantages of Nationalism I” and “Advantages of Nationalism II” seemed to me to be a genius. And they're not the only ones. This is not deep, fresh poetry. And light, frivolous, funny. On the contrary, that has nothing wrong with it, a poem that I hadn't read long ago, like a green movement by Mikel Zarate, which has a bitter touch on the last tragic, which becomes unrealistically a summary of our times.
