While the poor are getting poorer and poorer, the rich are getting richer and richer. The person who works and has a payroll has to pay the IRPF tax, he cannot escape. Those who have a small savings pay between 15% and 20% taxes. On the contrary, the rich, besides having complete financial engineering to generate their income tax, have at their disposal companies still legal, which can continue to benefit from very small taxes: They pay only 1%. We are talking about equity investment companies or SICAV. In order to create a SICAV, it is necessary to have at least EUR 2.4 million and 100 shareholders. According to official data, in the Spanish State there are 50,000 more people than in 2008 with a capital of more than one million euros; in the last year, 17,000 people have been added to the list of millionaires. This world is the one that hides behind SICAV and derives profits from those societies.

Despite the crisis, the number of SICAV has risen and has broken records. In 2011, there were about 3,000 such companies that managed EUR 24 billion. In May of this year, EUR 3.3 billion can be counted, of which EUR 36 billion is EUR. This privileged tax regime is designed for the benefit of the rich, so that they do not have to pay more, even more, so that they only pay a symbolic minimum.

In the name of justice and equal taxation, these companies must be eliminated because they are fraud. Until now, the political parties, even when the PSOE sent, have done nothing to eliminate them, but have promoted them. And the rich have filled their pockets of money. It would be good if the new parties that are under way and that can reach La Moncloa put this issue on their electoral agenda. That everyone should pay according to their profits: that whoever wins the most should pay the most. Enough tax privileges and shortcuts!
