==Death==He died in Kanbo on 30 May 2015 at the age of 89. He was a priest, a journalist and a writer.

In 1969 he was appointed director of the Weekly Herria, a position he held for 33 years. In the years before the Weekly he signed with Sokorri's nickname in Gazte magazine. He made translations in the Basque Liturgy and in ecclesiastical texts. He was a member of the group that met in the monastery of Belok and worked to translate the liturgy from Latin to Basque.

In 1967 he was appointed a member of the Basque Language Academy of Euskaltzaindia and in 1975. He gave an introductory lecture in which he was praised by some Basque writers from Ayala. Since 2006, he was an emeritus scholar from Euskaltzaindia. He was a member of the Popular Literature Commission and worked mainly in popular literature at the Basque Language Academy.

Although in his childhood he did not experience any atmosphere of bertsos, he became passionate about bertsolarism by the hand of Teodoro Hernandorena. When Herria started working in the weekly, he opened the way for the youngest Bertsolaris of Ipar Euskal Herria to send written verses. He was a member of the jury several times in the Bertsolaris Championship of Euskal Herria and in the Bertsolaris Championship of Navarra. I would write seated verses. He was a member of the Bertsularien Lagunak Association.

Larre gathered works from several bertsolaris, including those of Mayor Ernest, Jean Pierre Mendiburu, Joanes Arrosagarai and Xanpune.

In 1990 he received the Argia Prize for his career in Basque culture.
