“Milaka urteko hizkuntza da gurea, etorkizun oparoa du aurrean. Hiztunok, berriz, inolako konplexurik gabe defenditu behar dugu geure hizkuntza, eta bizitzaren alor eta egoera guztietan erabili. Gure hizkuntzari esker, emozioak, ezagutzak eta bizipenak partekatzen ditugu; hizkuntza da batzen gaituena, gure arteko lokarria. Bada gurea baino handiagoko hizkuntzarik, baina guri geurea zaindu, indartu eta zabaltzea dagokigu”.
Euskalgintzaren jirako bilkuretan behin eta berriz esan eta entzundakoak izaki, aurreko paragrafo horretan aipatzen diren arrazoiak arrunt ezagun, argi eta xalo begitantzen zaizkigu euskal munduan bizi garenoi. Ni behintzat harritu egiten naiz (oraindik ere!) diskurtso horren azpian hizkuntzarekiko ikuspegi zaharkitua dagoela esaten zaigunean albo-erdaretako batean. Zaharkitua ez ezik, arriskutsua eta susmagarria ere ba omen da, gainera. Horrelakoak entzunda, aldarteak haserre bizira egiten dit jauzi. Sarri, tamalez. Orain hurrena, Yolanda Barcina aritu da horrelako txolinkeria merkeak esaten. Baina, tira, txori-burutik txori-txioa beti, eta horrenak min ere ez luke emango... aginpiderik ez balu. Okerragoak entzunda gaude, eta niri bat zait bereziki mingarri. Euskara desagertuko balitz zer gertatuko litzatekeen galdetu ziotelarik, “ezer ez, gaztelaniaz edo frantsesez hitz eginez berdin biziko ginateke” erantzun zuen, nork eta Mikel Azurmendi idazle, filosofo eta antropologoak. Azurmendirena, garbi daukat nik hori, ez da txori-buru kontua, inor gutxik bezala ikertu baitu euskarak berekin dakarren mundu-ikuskera berezia, euskara galduz gero betiko galduko litzatekeena. Eta hori, Mikelek dakien bezala, sekulako hondamendia litzateke, guretzat ez ezik baita munduarentzat ere.
Honezkero agian ohartuko zinen, irakurle, ziria sartu dizudala, artikulu honen lehen paragrafoko arrazoiak ez baitira euskalgintzan hain ohikoak diren zer-gara-gu-nor-gara-gu bilera jira-birari horietako batean esanak, baizik eta aurten laugarren aldiz egingo den espainieraren jirako topaketa arranditsu baten aurkezpen are arranditsuagoan aldarrikatuak.
Paragrafo hori, dagoen-dagoenean, ez da inork esan edo idatzia, nik sortua –edo, zuzenago esanda– nik osatua baizik. Ez dut neurerik ezertxo ere gehitu: hor ageri direnak, guztiak dira topaketen aurkezpenean esanak. Nire sortze-lan bakarra, “espainiera” zioen lekuan “(gure) hizkuntza” jartzea izan da.
Topaketa horien izenburuak badu bere zera: Etorkizuna Espainieraz (Futuro en Español). Batek daki zein ote den hor elipsiak jandako aditza, baina larri ibili agintera izatea...
Esaldien jabego intelektuala, aurkezpenean hizlari aritu ziren intelektualei dagokie. Ororen buru, José Ignacio Wert ministro (oraindik ere!) jauna ageri da prentsako argazkian, eta haren alboan, besteak beste, Vocento Fundazioko lehendakari Enrique de Ybarra jauna. Batere susmagarria ez den jendea, barren. Nik neuk, horiek aipatuko ditut aurrerantzean euskararen aldeko diskurtsoaren berme gisa, orain arteko Mitxelena, Txillardegi eta abarren ordez. Alde ederreko errespetua jarri behar dut alajainetan!
Den-dena aitortzera, bada hizlari goitarrok erabilitako arrazoi bat, hasierako paragrafo horretara bildu ez dudana. Espainieraren etorkizunaz baikor izateko bi arrazoi aipatu zituzten. Bata, milaka urteko hizkuntza dela. Euskara bezala. Bestea, hitzez hitz, “espainierak etsairik ez duela”. Euskarak bezala?
