The Zaragozano dancer Víctor Ullate has a long trajectory. As a soloist or as a choreographer, he has been achieving great successes for many years. Perhaps in this edition of the Quincena Musical we are before the best dancer in the Spanish state. The ballet Victor Ullate, founded 25 years ago, has sought its place in the world of ballet, and since then, considering that the world of ballet is complex, it has gained fame and prestige around the world.
On this occasion, it brought a varied programme covering all areas. Some of them love it, some of them dislike it a little bit. Jaleos is a choreography that shows us, interestingly, a flamenco festival, filmed from the esthetics of Ullater, very stylized, idealized and with a completely classical dance technique. The whole dance group performs an exhibition of virtuosity. No wonder the success of this work in New York, which unites the essence and sensitivity of flamenco, rejecting its brutality.
Then, we discovered a totally different atmosphere at Tres's dance. The dancers Marlen Fuerte, Reika Sato and Cristian Oliveri demonstrated a clean technique, precision and interpretive sense in this choreography about Beethoven's music performed by the company's deputy director, Eduardo Lao. Then Beethoven returns his inspiration in Après toi ballet. The protagonist was Joshua Ullate, son of Victor Ullate. We met a fine, elegant, safe dancer. He interpreted this choreography of his father very well, in which we found the influence of Maurice Béjart clear. XX Memorial by French teacher Béjart. Ullate, who was fourteen years working at the Ballet of the 15th century, has distinguished himself by his Zaragozana style and technique. That's right, with your personal touch.
The same touch was visible in the Ullate version of Ravel's Bolero. Ullate offers a worldly and sophisticated point of view through this well-known and represented work. Start with the song Manisero and go to Bolero, representing different nuances and feelings. As has already been said, the classical technical basis is very clear and to be welcomed. Sometimes, behind the “modern” dance there is a poor technique and quality, but this is not the case with the Ullate group. Great.
I don't want people who don't know how to share the umbrella. I don't love the people who walk too fast when it's not me, nor the ones who walk too slowly (well, that's a little, but only a little). I don't like people sitting in the hallway seat on the bus. I don't like reckless... [+]
When you work with older people or people with physical and neural diversity, you realize that the idea of competition in our society limits us a lot as a species. That is, our system puts you in value by doing things specifically, and what it doesn't do is incapable of the... [+]
I wanted to write for the Christmas lights and claim to become an annual tradition in this time of street lighting, a welcoming, joyful and joyful public space from the point of view of the class. But, of course, also warm public spaces where some young people can be warming up... [+]
