40 families ask in Catalonia for the school to be taught in Spanish
The Ministry of Education of the Government of Spain plans to create two networks of centres, one in Catalan and one in Spanish, which will be taught in Spanish. Families have the right to choose Spanish if they wish. In 2014-2015, only 40 families asked their children to speak in Spanish. Now, all applications will be examined one by one to decide whether or not they are accepted.
