You have participated in great festivals in Catalonia and the Netherlands. What experience has it taken to touch so many people? What atmosphere?

It's the best prize a team like ours can get. It is the crossing of the border and the one that shows that there is a limit that must be broken. From the very beginning we have had a desire and a desire to go outside. Even though we have created and sung in Euskera, we have a lot to tell beyond these corners.

In Catalonia we have played many times, but in the Netherlands we have been the first time and it is always a challenge. On the flip side, we always think the same thing: that what we create in Euskera can spread out. We have felt that what is created in Euskera and Euskal Herria can be understood and understood abroad. What sets limits is not language. It's time to put the complexes aside.

You have often said that you like Maurizia, like Prodigy, and that has led you naturally to do what you do in Gose. If these are roots, where are the deer? Where are you going?

We have the clear direction. But not where we'll end. In almost ten years, a lot of things have happened to us, most of which we didn't expect, that have come without looking for them.

Our desire, our obsession at times, has been to make a unique proposal every time, while still being who we are. With this, of course, anything can happen along the way. If we knew where we'd end up, it wouldn't be that much fun.

Do you like music? What music do you hear lately?

I don't understand a musician who's not a music lover. All of us who are musicians know what it is to listen to the one who puts your goose bumps. It cannot be otherwise.

I hear everything, there are streaks, but at every moment I am one of those who listen until the things that I have in my hands are satisfied. Lately I've thrown into electro swing.

How many accordions do you have? Do you play other instruments?

At the time of the Conservatory, it played a lot. I met the little one and found that it's easier, easier, more practical and more joyful. I touch the pandero as well.

I have two sounds, those two I need, I'm not a fetishist. Yeah, when I need another one, I have who to ask.

Do you think you do something radical bringing the trikitixa to the end?

Radical? We define what it is to be radical in the Basque Country…

From the beginning of Gose, we've been clear about what we've wanted to do: use trikitixa and electronics to make songs, and use those songs to tell things. Plug tradition into a computer and play with the all-time bellows until you find a new way to make music. We wanted to show that an instrument of centuries without falling into treason can also create, interpret and disseminate the music of the twenty-first century. Take Maurizia to the ballroom. Today we have the computer in most areas and it is natural that it is also in music. Electronics is another instrument for saying what we have to say. And there is a lot to say, of course! There's no more than reading the newspapers to realize it.

Does the continuous updating of this instrument guarantee the survival of trikitixa? Do you have to move away from the tradition of innovating?

Trikitixa will survive if necessary. He doesn't need saviors. In any case, it will be the trikitixa that guarantees our survival.

Music has to be a reflection of society, because if we don't make music today, tomorrow's people won't have music yesterday.

Have you invented anything?

Guess what? Everything is invented! It's true that we've been the first to mix the trikitixa and the electronics singing in Euskera, but if we look beyond our navel, it's not that bad what we do. Around the world there are a lot of groups with a different training than the drummer guitar. If we set aside folklore, we played a little diatonic accordion on dance rhythms. The one who doesn't know what fandango and arin-arin are doesn't look so weird.

In many Basque groups you also hear, each doing so in its own way. It is the protagonist in many cases. How would you define trikitixa? Do you have a lot of records?

Now trikitixas are fashionable with registration, yes, but mine don’t have… ha.

What is trikitixa? A little diatonic accordion that we've made our own. From there, all the emotional weight is the guilt of the gerons, not the instrument. It is normal for trikitixa to be part of many Basque groups and for each to use it in its own way. That is not bad enough! More important is the arrow than the arrow.

Does being on the Frontwoma give Gose another aesthetic image?

It is, of course, part of the personality of hunger. If the hunger singer wasn't a woman, Gose wouldn't be hungry. Even if there's a battery in the group. Or if we played violin instead of trikitixa. It's not about aesthetics, it's about personality. We realise that saying what we sing in Gose through the mouth of a woman brings one more meaning to the message, we like it and we take advantage of it. The presence of a woman on the stage is also part of Gose's personality, which plays an active role and does not conform to the established rules. We also demand it.

Are more women appearing on the Basque scene or are there more visible today?

How many times have I been asked! Isn't it a sign that we're not used to seeing a woman in the front line? When we don't have to answer questions about the genre of the singer in the interviews, we'll start to think that something has changed. Until then, much remains to be done.

Music lover, composer or musician, they all have the same root. What does music bring you?

They're not the same thing. Thanks to music lovers who are not musicians… For years I have been betting on music in my life. It's a way of life. I don't live as a musician, but I live to be a musician.
