Hiru belaunaldi eta desio bat
Izen edo ideia horrekin zabaldu da EHUko Udako Ikastaroetan euskal zineari eskaini zaion tartea. Euskal txiolarien munduari esker izen dut horren berri. Eta irakurtzen dudanak gogoetarako bidea eman didanez, hona, Zinemaldia gainera erori baino lehen, gaiari buruzko nire ohartxoak.
Aldez aurretik, naziotasuna edota hizkuntza direla-eta, film bati ematen dioten diruari buruzkoa: euskal zinea zer den eztabaidatzen denean, iritzi adina definizio dago, baina nik ikusi eta ikasi dudanez, naziotasuna eta hizkuntza dira gai nagusiak. Normalean diruak hizkuntza markatzen du gainera. Eta merkataritza-ontziekin gertatzen den bezala, baliteke baten bat Panamako banderapean nabigatzea ere.
– 80ko hamarkadakoak dira aro honen hastapen urteak. Poli-milien diruaren mitoaz aparte, sosak Madrildik eta Euskaditik zetozen. Eta zuzendariak, euskal jatorrikoak baziren ere, kanpotik. Olea, Uribe, Ezeiza... gehienak, ezen baziren ere bertokoak, Armendáriz, Berasategi. Eta gehienak ere, etorri ziren tokitik joan ziren. Hurrengo hamarkadetan bezala badira ikusezinak ere, Anjel Lertxundi bezala, eta ekoizle batzuk. Eta haiei zor zaie hamarkada horretan ekoiztu zen euskarazko zinearen gehiena. Zinemaldiaren Sail Nagusian Antxon Ezeizaren Ke arteko egunak lehiatu zen. Nik figurante lanak egin nituen pare bat pelikulatan.
– 90ekoa euskarazko zinearentzat hamarkadarik eskasena izan zen. Zuzendariak bertokoak ziren eta generoak eta autoretza lantzen hasi ziren. Ulloa, Urbizu, Medem... Baina euskaraz ia ezer ez. Guggenheim Bilbao Museoa egin ondoren geratu zen dirua, Euskal Mediaren bitartez negoziatuak, eta Madrilekoa, berriz ere, izan ziren diru iturri nagusiak. Zuzendari gehienak hemendik joan ziren. Euskararengatik izan zela esan zuten Ikastaroan, baina garai hartan ez zegoen filmetan euskara babesten zuen araudirik. Nik pare bat pelikula egin nuen eta ez nintzen joan.
– 2000koa hamarkadarik oparoena da. Euskarazko zinearentzat finantzabide lerro propioak sortzen dira eta horrek fruituak eman ditu, hizkuntzaren trataeran isla dutenak. Diferentziaz, euskaraz gehien ekoiztu den garaia da. Euren lana bertan garatu nahi izan duten zuzendariei (Altuna, Esnal, Garaño, Goenaga, Almandoz...) eta ekoizleei esker. Hogeitaka urte eta gero, berriz ere, euskal film (Loreak) bateko protagonistek Sail Ofizialeko alfonbra gorria zapalduko dute. Niri estrenaldian egotea gustatuko litzaidake, alboko atetik sartu behar badut ere.
Eta orain desioa: ez pasatzea beste hogeitaka urte hurrengora arte, eta ni hor nonbait ibiltzea.
