The feet often suffer the change of the station. In fact, in summer, you're usually wearing chanclets or sandals, and in the fall we're starting to put on shoes that protect a lot more, so our feet lose a lot of mobility. This may cause pain that, although initially mild, may prevent time from circulating normally and may result in back or shoulder pain.
Pain can be caused by more than one cause and it is difficult to give general instructions that can be used in all cases. However, the classification of pain according to place may be useful.
In plant. The reasons are usually two. On the one hand, Morton's so-called neuroma, which consists of crushing a nerve and causing inflammation through the use of tight shoes or sharp tips. On the other hand, plantar fasciitis, the increase of the membrane that covers and protects the solera below. In the first case, a massage can relieve pain – surgery is the last solution – while if you have a fascitis, you will notice sharp pain while you are standing, even when you start walking, especially when you get out of bed in the morning. The doctor usually prescribes anti-inflammatory drugs, but in some cases small electric currents are also useful.
Pain may be due to the fact that the metatarsal is too wide or too large. But, especially when the one that hurts is a big finger and appears red, perhaps the urea crystals have accumulated and the suspicion of gout will have to be ruled out. In the latter case, you should take care of the size of the food: care with fatty foods, shellfish and alcohol.
At the feet. The most frequent cause is the foot vault syndrome, which is usually caused by overheating of the ligament. The best solution is to put ice three or four times a day.
Heel. When wearing inappropriate shoes repeatedly force muscles and ligaments, an extension called a spur occurs in the bones of the foot. And they can become very painful. Biomechanical overlays or imbalances may also arise.
Juanetes. 40% of the cases are inherited, according to a recent study by Harvard University. To relieve the pain caused by the Juanetes, a sponge is placed between the big finger and the next finger. Sometimes, however, there will be no choice but to operate it.
Callos, callos. To soften them it is good to bathe in warm water. In some cases, it may be necessary to previously soften it with pumice stone.
The skin of our feet is quite thick and rough, but if we want to keep it in good health, we must give it special treatment, along with extra hydration.
Exfoliation. To remove leftover surfaces, you should rub your feet with pumice stone, a file or a special gel, at least twice a day.
Hydration. Use special creams prepared with menthol, aloe vera (peppermint) and glycerin to cool and straighten your feet.
