The Xutik group is standing again. The impulse ballad already has its second album on the street. But the truth is that the group has always stood up, because they have not been bent since they started playing together, they have not sat or thrown away.

The party and the cry, the march and the struggle are the main axes of the Xutik group. They play joyful and dancing songs, mixing different musical styles (ska, reggae, rap, pop, rock, latino) and speak with correction, without hair in the mouth. They express the desire and hope that Euskal Herria will be free, and they are clear that to do so we must fight.

Some of the phrases that are said in the songs are: “With the smile we will hunt the old ghost” (Revolution of the Red Noses), “Once on earth, it comes to our head to dry us again” (Caemos), “Forget your shame, don’t hide the inner steps” (Dance), “The future of the Basque Country is in language, tomorrow it is in the grave” (Geroa Mihian), What we want: The prisoners go home! What we will achieve: Independence!” (What we will achieve), “Our motto is clear: we will not stay with the environment of life” (Xutik), “The clock is moving forward, we will not step back” (No Stockholm Syndrome), “Betiko! Hope for a free healing. Forever! To support silent screams” (The Wall of Memory), “Don’t keep the tears, they will be lucky, don’t shake your head” (Flekz), “On the tongue we have the key to freedom. To the people! To the people! They will be on the street!” (Herrira).

They've created a disc with lots of colors, using eleven instruments, and they've created a powerful melody. The recording was carried out in September 2012 in the study of Paxkal Etxepare, in the Labortana town of Bardoze. The mastering was performed by Pierre Chalbos in the study of Mastering La Source in Paris.

Although each song on the album has a different character, all songs give it a complete character. “Although each song deals with a theme, they are all part of a ballad,” the group explains.

The song Herrira was created for the demonstration of support for prisoners called by the Herrira platform in Baiona. The closest issue to prisoners is as follows: “In the current situation, and especially in view of the news that comes to us every day, the cry for prisoners is more important than ever.”

The songs on the album are written in Basque, and some in French and Catalan. Its objective is also to take into account the reality outside Euskal Herria, reflecting the existence of thousands and thousands of cultures throughout the world, as well as the Basque culture. To this end, they considered the work of a number of the partners involved in the initiative to be essential. Among them, the Catalan musician Carles Belda sings the trikitixa de Xutik and the rapper Saïdou, rap singer of the MAP and ZEN groups, has participated in the song from which we will leave the first.

The members of the group also had the collaboration of several musicians and artists in the recording sessions: Band de Lekittoko; Uritze Laka; Ibon and Manex Altuna de Itziarren semeak; Pirritx, Porrotx eta Marimotots; Sébastien Zamora; and Jean-Ro Unhassobiscay.
Maitena Beheran (voice), Peio Iziaga (voice), Ortzi Hegas (drums and voice), Amaiur Koxkarat (bass and voice), Sébastien Sede (guitar), Pier Balacey (guitar and voice), Patxi Bidart (saxo, gaita and voice) and Mizel Zamora (trompu and voice). Patxi Bidart is from Baja Navarra and the other members are from Lapurdi.

The Xutik group was set up in 2008. Before, Zpeiz Mukaki was part of the electrotxaranga and Skype dance group. The Xutik group has two albums on the street: Mukaki Zpirit (Baga-Biga, 2011) and Bultzaden balada In addition, this year the 30th edition of the Aste Nagusia has been held. The song of the Herri Urrats party was created by the Xutik group.

In these years his music has evolved, but the philosophy of the group and his commitment to diversity have remained. The team is still standing, not crouching.
