The Government of France does not cease its duties. You don't want to let SEASKA breathe. At the last session, the prefect and the sub-prefect stated that Falloux will adhere strictly to the law, that is, even if it is granted permission from the village houses, SEASKA will not be able to pick up or expand the ikastolas on the street and the village houses will not be able to allow it to build public buildings. If SEASKA violates the law, the administration will take you to court.

Aware of this attitude, SEASKA believes that the situation in which prisoners are held is serious. The two examples that have recently been brought to the forefront are those of the ikastola of Hendaia and Beskoitze. The former is not allowed to enlarge the building and the latter is not allowed to rent public land at a market price. Almost twenty ikastolas could have a similar problem, as they are teaching in buildings or land provided by the village houses. Everyone is in danger if the French Government does not change its attitude and decides to end the Falloux Act. In the opinion of SEASKA, it is very easy to repeat the situations of Hendaia and Beskoitze again, since it is sufficient that the denunciation of an electorate comes to the hands of the sub-prefect.

In order to deal with the serious situation, two lines of struggle will be launched; on the one hand, the path of denunciation will be followed in France and internationally and, on the other, they will go out into the streets. According to SEASKA, the Falloux law violates the right to equality, that is, in secondary school one can use the public place, while in primary it cannot be used. Among other things, it is considering recourse to the Constitutional Court (TC).

Facing the street, SEASKA will join the demonstration called by Batera for 30 November in Donostia. On 28 and 29 December, a claim party will be organised in Baiona. It is about preparing a great talotegi, in a festive atmosphere, to give more strength to the claim.
