Capsula taldeko kideak
Capsule is an unusual group: Born in Argentina, Martín (guitar and voice) and Coni (bass and voice) have lived in Bilbao since the year 2000; it is the group of Euskal Herria that offers the most concerts, both abroad and abroad; and has achieved some goals and more. They understand and live music in an almost obsessive way, to which, adding their ability to transmit and learn, they have a great direct.
Martin Guevara created the group in Buenos Aires and named it inspired by his hero, the Space Oddity. In 1998 he published Sublime, punk, dark pop and psychedelia. Later, Guevara met Coni Duchess and together they recorded the album Yudoka, which has rock garage influences from the United States and Australia. In 2000 they were installed in Bilbao and in 2002 they published Capsula with the help of DDT Banaketak. Rock and garage sounds married the grunge. Gaztelupeko Hotsak just reedited these three trabajos.En
Bilbao took several tours around Europe, until they almost burned vans and spacious, and from city to city they won public and critical. In 2006, Albums Liliput published Songs & circuits. The roads and the scenes were matured and hardened, as musicians and composers grew a lot, Guevara sings next to Iggy and submerges into the punk garage and nois. Since then, nothing has stopped them. In 2009, Bcore Disc released Rising Mountains, one of the best albums of the year according to Rolling Stone and Route 66. The band participated for the first time in the prestigious SXSW festival in Austin and since then has never missed the date.Naked flame (Bloody Hotsak) was published in
2008 under the name of Ivan Julian & Capsula. The legend of the New York musician is composed of songs by Ivan Julian (Richard Hell & The Voivods) and is developed thanks to the Argentine trio bilbaíno, which in 2011 published In the land of silver souls in the USA and Europe. The album was produced by John Agnello, who worked with Sonic Youth.
In 2012, one of the biggest dreams of the group components materialized: He performed the album live by Bowie The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars and, with the help of Agnello, was immortalized on the album Dreaming of… (Gaztelupeko Hotsak).
The circle of admiration towards Bowie closes. Bowie's producer and collaborator, Tony Visconti, listened to the songs of Capsule and gave permission to produce Solar Secrets. The album is completely rocker and has an American tint, most successfully rock hard rock from the glam and 70’s, but it drinks full of blues, stoner, psychodelia, power-pop, post-rock, gark, punk or new-wav… In fact, Capsula has also achieved a modern, classic and powerful sound.
