Surely this requires several conditions: one, the economy must help here more than in Spain; two, it will also need a young and comprehensive generation that works without complex sovereign approaches within the party and with strength. And above all, it will need the impetus and support of the strong citizen sovereign movement that is not yet here. The same thing happened to CIU in Catalonia.

In October the melodies of PEACE AND CONFLICT in Euskal Herria will be mixed. The echo of the bittersweet messages of mayors from all over the world will dissipate in the Bay of La Concha and yet it will be a hard month. But there is also room for a more optimistic vision, especially if Jonan Fernández sees the possibility of reaching agreements in the Basque Government’s reindeers by November. This continues to insist on the fundamental issue: that all victims need treatment at the same level.

There is no reason for Fernandez, who knows and says so sincerely, but to the disgrace of the relatives of the victims, it is not true in the peace processes. In almost all peace processes there is a process of amnesia, in which the victims of the states are the most forgotten. Many victims are also being forgotten in Northern Ireland. At most, the United Kingdom has sometimes acknowledged the State's fault and compensation in cash, as in the case of Derry's Bloody Sunday. That is why, 15 years after the signing of the Good Friday Agreements, last September Amnesty International denounced in a report the British Government and the political parties in Northern Ireland: in the area of victims, and taking the truth and justice as its axis, the assessment that has been made so far is negative.

In this same number of ARGIA, the Mayor of Belfast says that if something has not been done well in the peace process, that has been the subject of the victims.
