The Basque in Biarritz for a week
Between 16 and 20 September, 50 quotes will be held at different points in Biarritz (Lapurdi), in the week Mintzalasai de la Aste Nagusia. The organisers are clear about the objective: the Basque country must be seen and attractive to the neighbours of Biarritz.
In this second edition, the Biarritz People’s House has 20 associations working in the organization, with 100 collaborators and 150 participants. According to the organizers, in a locality where family transmission is modest and the linguistic landscape is predominantly French, about 50 activities have been organized. You can enjoy all kinds of activities in Basque: clowns, adult TELP workshops and pedagogical visits, kitchen work, visit to the Museum of the Sea, skate sessions, dances, cabaret dinner…
