The group published its first album in 2001 and, until 2008, offered several concerts in different parts of the Basque Country. For these live performances small places were chosen, houses of culture, bars prepared for this, suitable spaces that reflected the proximity and naturalness sought by the group. Since then, the group experienced a kind of inpasse until in 2011 they were invited to join the Zarautz Kafe Torero stage. After that concert, they started their new journey. With contributions from the Hasier Oleaga battery and the Amaiur Cajaraville bass, they created a new repertoire and developed the idea of publishing a new album. According to the composer, arranger and instrumentalist Bixente Martínez, this is the best way to make the group known. This group of experienced musicians has continued to adapt and develop traditional songs freely. The original melodies are welcomed with a lot of affection, but with little respect, says Bixente Martínez. When it comes to recovering songs created in Euskal Herria, they also bring the Basque heritage, since all melodies have history, origin and trajectory. Among the 13 songs that
make up the album are songs from other countries. For example, the song Questitatxo bat, which gives title to the album, refers to the Coplas that were sung in the pilgrimages of Arantzazu. In the song Ades Aita, recovered from Aita Donostia's songwriter, the virtues of San José are praised and the group has wanted to dedicate it to all the honored fathers of the world. Playing towards Navarre, the Queen of May is based on the coplas that were sung on May 1 in the Baztan Valley. It is the area of Otxandio, on the borders of Bizkaia and Araba, and it is Oker Txiki Kanta. It seems that long ago the donkeys and the shipyards moved from the coast to La Rioja to take fish, and back to the coast they brought wine.
