After a few years of silence, Mariasun Landa published two works for children and young people at the end of 2012: Fairy and desire (Elkar) is a novel that can be found in the fantastic current realism and Marikanta eta inurri ipuina (Erein). In this last story, as can be seen from the title itself, Txitxarra eta inurri is known as hypotexta, but on this occasion the author offers us a different interpretation and a different account of the fá bula.La cigarra, as everyone knows, is not as laborious as the ant and then has comedies to

spend the winter. That is the apprenticeship of the fable, we have to work to prepare the future… but cigarra Marikanta prefers to sing rather than working, and makes a concrete proposal to ants to spend the winter inside the anteater, to teach ants singing to participate in the International Choirs for Ants Competition. And the ants spent the winter singing. “Marikanta did a lot of work but even more fun. She gave encouragement and courage to the ants without showing any despair to the flock. Courage! Again and again. In the end, he showed that he was a little more patient and responsible for what was expected.” But when he felt the arrival of spring, “the cigarette disappeared from the anteater without leaving

any trace.” Marikanta “had a particularly nice and comfortable winter. In addition to being a refuge and food, his self-esteem increased as a singer and a driving force. In addition, I had filled with art the life of sad and boring ants.” However, as the reader can see from the beginning, Marikanta's intentions have not been entirely correct and this can be clearly seen in the interview he maintains with the witch needle Leonor:

"Isn't it embarrassing to have fooled those poor workers?" - He rebuked Leonor's witch needle.

"Shame?" What does this mean?

That's what cigarettes are like. It's natural.

But despite all the deceptions, ants have since worked with the joy of songs. In fact, fleeing from the learning of the fables, Landa offers us in this little tale another kind of learning, the value of art, the importance of living well in company.
I mean, we live better by having a good time. The

story is simple, it reads quickly, and the images of Jokin Mitxelena reflect and beautify the narrative. The story is linear, except for the initial presentation, and we can quite easily imagine the life of the anteater and the life of the coming years.
