On 11 January 2013, the French State Army put its hand in Mali following the movements of armed Islamist groups around Bamako. For months now these groups have been in their hands in northern Mali, and they have dared to deal with everything.
Who can truly believe that this operation is “for democracy in Mali”? For decades, the eroded regimes of these countries have trampled underfoot it. They are quickly held up from France. So why a “democratic” emergency like this?
Also, who will believe that the goal is to “protect the region”? The real objective is to protect the supply of uranium to the nuclear power stations of the French State, which operate in the mines of northern Niger. This is a desert area, separated from Mali by a simple line on the geographic maps.
In art, it should be pointed out how perverse the former colonial powers have been at the time of drawing those absurd limits, without taking into account the local population, inventing countries of very unusual environments: Niger and Mali, both like a hourglass. An area in the south-west with the head of the city, far from the large part of the northeast, which is completely abandoned and built mainly by deserts.
This is, of course, a neo-colonial coup, although it has been disguised with a request for help from the current President of Mali to make it look. This lehendakari has no credibility, as it is the result of an army coup d’état of 22 March 2012. We insist that we give no credibility to the very laborious fundamentalists. Drug and arms dealers who are not ashamed of hurting and killing people.
However, we do not accept the story of military interference “for democracy”. It is an excuse that has already been used many times, especially when the United States wanted to get oil supplies. And there it appears again, because France wants to ensure that uranium is supplied to it from its nuclear reactors. In Anarte, for example, the cost of a Rafale war aircraft is EUR 27,000 per hour, it should be noted that nuclear electricity is much more expensive than we thought...
Finally, it is clear that the atom and reason for state not only harm the environment and living beings, but also harm democracy.
These were my last words when we left, held hand in your deep breathing sleep. Your heart stayed forever without a special, simple, dignified pain. As you want and demand. How we want and respect.

Today, the voices of women and children remain within a culture that delegitimizes their voices, silencing their experiences, within a system aimed at minimizing or ignoring their basic rights and needs. A media example of this problem is the case of Juana Rivas, but her story... [+]
