I met Itsaso Gutierrez Retolaza in the 1990s, when he was part with two other young Donostiarras from Jauko Barik, a group as daring and unclassifiable as tender. The band of girls later acquired a more rocker character, and in addition to publishing a model and two albums, they toured Europe. Years later, I discovered Itsaso's track in the Keike group. Ondarroa's band mixed metal and rock and also published several albums; Itsaso was one of the guitarists.
Shortly after, in the fourth edition of the Danbaka music competition organized by Goiena, the Xarma group, unknown to me, surprised us by finding a live group that filled with melodic hardcore, hard rock, rage, immense feeling and stage. Accompanied by Dennis Alberdi (drums) and Ibai Suárez (bass), he has made available to us a record recorded in the Koba studio of Xanpe. The voice and the guitar are yours.
