First, he writes his strokes and for this he uses a first person and something similar to everyday life. Secondly, it makes a very paranoid display of a couple of events in the novel. And finally, to get to know her madness, Vera enters the story of her great-grandmother. All three are appealing techniques to see madness in a polyhedral or schizophrenic way.
I found the second game very interesting. Worked on the chapter Insanity. In fact, with an impressive pace, the narrator tells us the same action in three different ways, mixing the facts and making the reader the prisoner of this dizziness. It seems to me that this is where Itsaso Martin meets the reader, because he has been able to express exactly what a situation of confusion can bring to anyone.
So, to conclude, it seemed to me a very interesting novel, worthy of two novels, because I would stay with the first part and with the technique I have just mentioned. And it seems to me that that alone could form a pretty interesting story. I let him make another beautiful novel by Vera, historic if you will. Madness, diagnosis, history have set in motion many things and many voices to bend in so few pages. Too much for short pastures, but very interesting.
