The Basque road has several zigzags. If the grandmother of a Hernani farmhouse had to send someone to wind up, she would say, “Go for Lekeitio!” The saying has its grace and part of reason, although a lekeitiarra would send the geese to bury.
Such a path resembles Tom Simpson’s latest hairstyles. I've seen a guy from Etxebarri dressed in orange and very squeezed, training down the road to Lekeitio, on a bicycle. It will not happen again. Not because of that color. The new optical fiber doesn't get to the corner of Etxebarri, or you prefer the Asian market, or I know why, you've sent the guy for Lekeitio. He will not raise dust, he is used to being stealthily available to others. He's a boy who's kicked his noses out for friends. It has always given more importance to the road than to the goal.
These are not values that are very fashionable.
