Benefits of black chocolate
Humans started consuming chocolate 4,000 years ago. Christopher Columbus was credited with having brought her to Europe on her fourth trip to America in 1502. What people living in the Amazon Basin received today is taken all over the world.
Many studies have been done on the benefits of chocolate, and this time we want to inform you about what has been done at the University of San Diego in California. For 15 days, 31 people were asked to take 50 grams of black chocolate or 50 grams of white chocolate a day. Each one chose the type of chocolate they consumed each day, and from the beginning to the end of the trial, different parameters such as blood pressure, lipid quantity and glucose were compared.
After the comparison, it became clear that black chocolate consumers had a lower blood pressure, a more appropriate cholesterol level and a lower glucose level than the rest. However, researchers have warned that eating a lot of chocolate increases the amount of calories and saturated fats, so it is not advisable to eat more than 50 grams a day.
