What was a project of its own has become a group.
I started sketching in 2009, and later I called Aitor Abu to help me work on the electronic side. Fer Apoa heard something in the studio and how he liked it encouraged him to try it out with the voices. And when Txarly Díaz talked to me about doing something together, I showed him the project. The goal is to make strong music beyond some of our limits, play, experiment and expel rabies.
What unites you and what component each one puts?
The four of us come from making loud, rhythmic music, we've also met the electronic aspect from time to time, and we know a little bit about this world. Abio puts crazy electronics, Fer voice and attitude, Txarly acute guitar and instinct, and I bases and anger.
2 With Kate, you also worked in the electronic and industrial fields. Are you comfortable in this discipline?
There's something that attracts me, powerful rhythmic bases, machine feeling, mixing with sharp guitars, distortion... It expresses strength.
What would you say to those who say electronics is cold?
I believe that coldness does not depend on style or instrument, a feeling can be expressed with any style or instrument. And electronics are very good at expressing anger.
Do you trust the pacifists?
Always talking about peace, but actually ... Faced with this impossibility of achieving our peace, we ironically propose the “popular suicide”, an expression of violence to achieve peace.
You're nostalgic: when no one claims, you make industrial music...
It's not a nostalgia, it's a matter of taste. I am a few years old and most of my influences are also a few years ago, although I received news every day. It's good for me to express what I want. I don't care what others do.
Is it possible that the human being is dominated by machines?
The human being is dominated by the human being and that is the freedom that must be fought. And yes, as technology does for us, it also opposes us ... What we receive will be deserved.
Is it becoming increasingly clear that this system is broken?
It cracks everywhere, and we are witnessing this decline.
Christ, God has died, Savior, Mercy, Prayer, Sin, Blessing... Is the Church the main purpose of this album?
Yes, in addition to misanthropy and freedom, I later discovered that religion and death were widespread in words. They are the unconsciously influence of the education we have received in a Catholic society.
“Your need to be free has made you a prisoner.” Direct torpedo to consumerism?
Consumerism, technology, media, politicians, church... They all offer freedom. To do whatever you want, buy, see, believe... It is surprising how many freedoms we have at our disposal. Long live freedom!
“…we love anesthesia.” Subliminal message in a Breakdown song? How is Anesthesia?
Anesthesia is that anesthetizing “freedom”, which went well to the song, almost was the title. And, by the way, a small tribute. Anesthesia is deep asleep, but let's say it any day. It's turned on the feathers! Ha ha ha ha.
In this sense, in the song written by Joseba Ponce I have taken the track of Tankard and Jello Biafra&DOA. I mean, the old school.
Yes, we've also received the collaborators from the old school, ha, ha. It's the hardcore-punk of the record. We've had fancy friends. Oreka TX, Ander Lipus, Joseba Ponce, Imanol Epelde...
“The sheer ability to be yourself is a virtual reality in the digital age.” Do we do too little of the truth?
If we walk away from nature and enter the sea of “information”, always between four walls, looking at a screen… we find it hard to be balanced and recognize ourselves. We are the only animal that stops itself.
How was the concert in favor of Kukutza with Anesthesia?
Seeing excessive and rabid violence, we are encouraged to do something. Some have told us ironically whether they have to throw the gaztetxes to see us.
How do you experience survival by making music?
There are many things more important than money, for example, doing what you like, in the freest way you can. And despite the economic ups and downs, they're beans for the soul.
Has the first commercial song written by Mikel Kazalis come too late?
Ha ha ha ha ha ha! Yes, too late, no one believes in making a melodic and “commercial” song after so much noise! I don't know if it's that much, but I thought maybe we could go to Gaztea ...
More than one says that in these hard times the most extreme music is that of natural soundtracks. That has always been your context. What do you say?
The beast also shows the teeth when it feels in danger. That is their current expression. If you feel something like this, it makes sense for you to respond like this. But I like there to be different styles, and also quiet music, not everything has to be wood. All our feelings must have a solution.
When will we see you in the scenarios? How will your direct ones be?
It is difficult to reconcile our agendas, but we are testing when we can and preparing everything else for the right. We hope that they will be available by March. The concerts will be powerful. We want to reinforce music with images, by projecting videos.

Today, the voices of women and children remain within a culture that delegitimizes their voices, silencing their experiences, within a system aimed at minimizing or ignoring their basic rights and needs. A media example of this problem is the case of Juana Rivas, but her story... [+]
