Charles Boycott was an English officer working for landowners in Ireland. By equating the property of lands and houses with that of sacred objects, he mercilessly treated tenants thrown from their dwellings. In 1880, as part of a broader initiative organized by the nationalist Irish Land League, an isolation campaign was launched against Boycott: his peasants left the harvest without collecting; the servants of the house abandoned the cleaning; the merchants did not sell anything, and the porters handed over the cards. At last, that same year he had to leave Ireland, leaving a powerful inter-linguistic word for history.

A few weeks ago, the BBK tried to remove a child's house from our young child's class, and only by a defect of form has it been possible to postpone the auction.
