Researchers at the University of Virginia (USA) Angeline Lillard and Jennifer Peterson have conducted a curious essay with 16 4-year-old children in which they have been shown two animated films, in one the images and scenes pass quickly and in the other slower. The first has been a film by the character of Bob Belakia, and the second by Cailloe.
According to the results that have been published in the journal Pediatrics, the behavior of children has changed dramatically when it comes to watching one film or another. After seeing Caillou, children’s ability to focus and care has not changed. After seeing Bob Belaquia, his attitude has changed radically and they have felt very agitated.
According to the researchers, it has been shown that the films we watch on television have an impact on our attitude, and that this impact becomes more evident the younger it is.
