The chairman of the People’s Party, Mariano Raxon, has solemnly stated that he does not expect anything good from the mayor of Donostia-San Sebastián. Well, you have every right to express your opinion. I, for example, do not expect anything good from the mayor of Pamplona either. I suspect, however, that what Raxoi said was in an attempt to demonstrate Bildu’s alleged lack of legitimacy.

Bildu’s arrival in the elections has been the subject of debate on several Spanish television channels: if it is good, why they have achieved success, what will happen in San Sebastian (all journalists do not rule out the Apocalypse). In the newspapers, the results of Bildu have been made known in major headlines. But if we were looking for it, we could easily find other possible topics: According to the Public Journal, about one hundred officials - councillors, mayors, parliamentarians - elected in these elections (in which they are not present) are accused of a crime of corruption; that is, the judges have not yet declared them innocent or guilty. It is curious, but I have not seen any debate on it on television.

On a right-wing television, María San Gil expressed concern about the results obtained by nationalism on the front line. Your concern and your outrage. By reference to ETA, it was clear that San Gil is more concerned about the vote of many people to nationalists than about anything else. The three journalists next to him, drooling by liters, coincided in San Gil's point of view. Despite the fact that in Valencia a corrupt airport has been built, in Castellón there is no aircraft, the People’s Party has achieved the best results in its history. This Valencian, however, does not seem to be a cause for concern.

The way some people think is curious. What Bildu can do in Donostia is more worrying than what others have done and what they will continue to do. The Constitutional Court declared Bildu innocent and approved his lists, which are still pending to see the innocence of a number of PSOE and PP candidates. However, there are those who think that voting for Bildu is detrimental to democracy, while voting for Camps and Fabra seems to be a sign of the health of this democracy.

In any case, we seem to be on the road to standardisation. Little by little, Bildu is taking on the role of Esquerra Republicana in the debates on Catalonia on Basque politics. Or they're giving it that role. From now on, on the pretext of Bildu, they will be able to make good and bad police in the tertulias. The Malvada Police will remember time and again that Bildu comes from the world of ETA and is therefore marginal. The good police, for its part, will say that Bildu represents independence, and will add that, although he does not agree with independence, that possibility must be respected (and then, as if he did not say almost nothing, taking into account the good and bad differences, in the Basque Country he will be in favour of an agreement between the two major parties).

Independence, from the point of view of Spain, is going to be a disease. To denounce aloud or to cure quietly, but the disease. That is why I am also concerned about San Gil, which is going to happen in San Sebastián. But unlike San Gil and unlike Raxoi, I expect good things from the mayor of San Sebastian. Because I'd like to guess in the politics that you're going to do.
