Yes, José Luis, I am also concerned about the rise of the right, this rapid expansion of the blue. But I'm also worried that I feel closer to certain attitudes of those who say they're left-wing.
Uxue claimed to have received with enthusiasm the movement of the camps that emerged after the demonstration on 15 May, and so did I. Since on the left at European level it is fairly internalized that from the institutional route there are enormous limits to driving truly transformative left policies, the movement of the camps seemed to me to depart from its own impotence. However, in our environment, some of the Abertzale left began to look at the camped on their shoulders, within a few hours of starting the account, and with total mime, and to make a narrow marking for this and for the rest.
It is, of course, legitimate to have doubts – I too have more than one – such as having a critical attitude, but I am really annoyed by the paternity of some. Above all “we have been angry for years”, “we have been fighting for 30 years” and that kind of wars that are summed up in the arrogant messages of “we are cool” and “you have a lot to learn for us”. The cheap use of this first plural person to be appropriate for the efforts of others. Because, apparently, the fact of naming yourself as a member of the Abertzale left directly gives you a label for your unconditional wrestler. Just as saying “we Democrats” gives you the free label by the Democrat. “We on the Abertzale left,” and apparently you don’t have to justify, because you’re automatically at the forefront of the struggle, although the most revolutionary thing you’ve done for years is to put a bad vote in an election ballot (when you’ve been left, that’s right). Although they remain firm in the most conservative cultural models (basko radical rock and prosa kitsch-purpura), although they study engineering in OPUS or business in Deusto, even if they bear the emblem of an old kingdom within them, even if they look at the Maghreb of the old part with contempt.
And yet I do not believe that the Abertzale left is in a position to give lessons to anyone in left-wing politics. Really, I don't think anyone can give lessons to anyone. But you will not be surprised if I say that the Abertzale left – the majority –, committed to the great national issues that are written in capital letters, has seemed more Abertzale than to the left many times. It seems that, for some, when we achieve independence, we will begin to worry about the distribution and dignity of work, immigration, LGBT rights, etc.
Yes, I do not believe that, with exceptions, as far as left-wing policies are concerned, no one is here when it comes to starting the political career. Many of those who have been camping in Barcelona have staged movements against Bologna in the middle of a general strike in the occupation of the Spanish Bank of Credit headquarters, or have led to the extreme civil disobedience (Enric Duran). They too have been outraged for a long time. They don't need to be given lessons of superiority.
I have read to Eider Rodriguez that those who come are times of joy, not anger. Anyway, I would be happy for myself if it were, but not the stupid joy of the lover, especially not the stupid joy of a lover with himself.
