The illustrator Darko Drijevic (Montenegro) has won the Barakaldo International Graphic Humor Competition. More than 300 participants competed in the tenth edition. The second prize was awarded by Leandro Ezequiel Martínez (Argentina) and the third by Nikola Listes (Croatia). On the right, the winner's drawing.
The exhibition Caligcromías by the artist Iñaki Ruiz de Egino has been exhibited throughout the summer in the cloister of the Monastery of San Salvador in Urdazubi (Navarre). Now, the San Sebastián sculptor has installed two large pieces in this place: It is called the Birth of the Cube of 450 kilos and the Rise of 3,000 kilos. The Gustavo de Maeztu Museum in Estella (Navarre) has received the retrospective exhibition of the painter Fernando Beorlegi (Campanas, Navarra, 1928-Eibar, Gipuzkoa, 2008), entitled The Bitter Brushstrokes of the Mind.
