The ToxiWatch Foundation has been working for years on the control of the incinerator in the Dutch city of Harling, according to the Zero Zabor Association in Hernani, "for those responsible for the incinerator to explain to the public the contamination that has been uncontrolled or voluntarily concealed". The study carried out in the Netherlands was presented in Hernani in 2019 (here you can read the interview that Pello Zubiria made to the representative of ToxiWatch at that time), and since then, at the request of the Anti-Personnel Movement and the Zubieta Lantzen association, they began to do the same about the incinerator of Zubieta. To finance this study, citizenship was collected and a grant was granted to several municipalities.
ToxiWatch first analysed the situation prior to incineration, analysing the eggs of the hens in the area, the water in the incinerator area, the river mud, the leaves of some plants and trees, the moss, etc. In 2020 and 2021 it has been re-measured by laboratory analysis of new samples collected.
A usurbildarra member of the Anti-Incineration Movement will present the data shown in the 2021 report, which has participated in sample collection and analysis. Zero Zabor said in Hernani that they are "disturbing data."
This presentation, organized by Zero Zabor in Hernani, will take place at the Biteri Culture House on Saturday November 19 at 11:00 in the morning.
