NoMoInGlo No Monster Incinerator in Gloucestershire spreads its news from social media, but in addition to the Gloucestershirelive media outlet, the BBC has echoed the protest of Sid Saunders, who has completed a week of hunger strike.
The owner of the Javelin incinerator, which is being built in Gloucestershire, is Urbaser, the same company that will build and manage Zubieta in Gipuzkoa and manage the waste from the North in Bayonne Canopy. Sid Saunders demands with his hunger strike that Urbaser show the full contract signed with the Gloucestershire authorities. Although the authorities initially argued that they have publicly explained the contract (forced by the courts), they have now confessed to the BBC that they have since made changes to the contract and will make the text public "as soon as possible".
In the meantime, posters with the faces of those responsible for the incinerator, including the head of the regional government and the director of the project, have been displayed in several streets of Gloucester, with old style posters that say "Wanted".
