Eight ikastolas have been recognized for their work to promote Basque culture in neighbouring areas

Euskal Herriko Ikastolen Elkartea recognised eight ikastolas: Ikastola de Beskoitz, Ikastola Eperra de Sohüta, Ikastola de Sangüesa, Ikastola Ibaialde de Lodosa, Ikastola Argia de Tudela, Ikastola Erentzun de Oyastola,
These ikastolas "have travelled a journey full of obstacles to date, which has been a very enriching road" and along this road have been "grateful and recognized", as pointed out by the president of the Federation of Ikastolas, Nekane Artola.
