On Thursday, at 09:00 in the morning, the Ertzaintza evicted the gaztetxe Munarri from the Biscayan town of Amorebieta-Etxano. The demolition of the building also started on Thursday. The members of the Gaztetxe have indicated that they identified six people and arrested two others who had no police history. They also denounced the aggressive attitude of the Ertzaintza.

Inside the building, three people were at the time of eviction, including a refugee who lived in the gaztetxe. The Ertzaintza drove them out and identified the three. Subsequently, the machines arrived to start the demolition and the demolition works of the Palace of the Forjors of the twentieth century began.

On October 6, Gaztetxe Munarri called the demonstration to call for the eviction to be stopped. The mobilization, which departed at 20:30 hours from the Plaza de Amorebieta-Etxano, claimed the occupation, the right to housing and the fight against speculation.

The youth assembly of Amorebieta-Etxano occupied the building over a year ago, and that was where he built the gaztetxe. The members of the Gaztetxe received the eviction order in mid-September, and the deadline set was exhausted on Thursday morning.
