Weapons of impunity
On Saturday, 21 May, colleagues from the associative library Kaxilda (San Sebastian) suffered a serious and unpleasant incident. SAPA of the Aperribay. We regret that our Aitabitxia was unable to attend the presentation of the book that was made the day before in the same bookstore and that it did not disagree with what was stated in the document endorsed by the 11 anti-militarist groups in the Basque Country. It is also invited to explain which data in the book are not correct, always by more civic means.
Beyond the content of the book and the harp that the Aperribay family can do to businesses with the death industry, we condemn and denounce the threats suggested by their words. We further denounce the fact that we have done so within a framework of dialogue and reflection.
To the Kaxilda library association, to its workers and to all those who support freedom of expression, to our most sentient solidarity and to our most ardent protection. Beyond our struggle to disarm this world and to put an end to armed conflicts, we believe that the laborious research on which this document is based is the use of civil law and freedom.
In the struggle to disarm the Donostiars, the bookshops, the associations of neighbours and the other groups working for a better world, whom they regard as powerful and unpunished, we encourage us to continue to fight for a more transparent community, where freedom of expression is not limited.
