According to the published data, in the 0-10 year grades, the Basques of Hegoalde have one of the lowest interest rates in relation to bullfights. In the Basque Autonomous Community the average is 1.5 points, and 76.2% declare an interest level of between 0 and 2 points. In Navarre, the interest rate is 53.8%, while the average is 3.3%.
Navarre's numbers can give a lot to talk about. In fact, in Pamplona/Iruña the bulls have a large plaza, as the bulls, which are famous, bring together a lot of people. However, the data indicate that 25 out of every hundred Navarros have gone to any form of bulls throughout the year. In the CAPV the figure is lower: 6 out of 100 people. The bullfights held at the Aste Nagusia in Bilbao recorded the worst data in its history and this survey published gives continuity to what was seen in August, showing that the Basque society is increasingly following the bullfights.
As for the Spanish State, there are also very few young people who have approached bullfights: Between the ages of 15 and 24, they do not reach ten per cent. For the following age groups, the data is not better, as the threshold of 10% among adults is not exceeded either.
