Zero-covid-19, zero scruples
- Some have taken with a grain of irritation the series of articles that the official journal Renmin Ribao has published this very week about the zero-covid-19 strategy. The Beijing authorities, the 20th of the Party, have deducted once and for all. That, after the end of Congress, this strategy has been adjusted but have no intention of discarding it. What happened to people! They say they're going to play when they're afraid to oppose everybody.
Because in this part of our world there are those who have truly believed that the zero covid-19 strategy is a nonsense and that “coexistence with the virus” is the best, without comparison. Propaganda is a machine for sowing believers. And the Western propaganda machine has been trying for months to eradicate that zero-covid-19 strategy that is associated with China: it has no scientific basis, it causes spectacular economic damage, it imposes on people a screening and an unfair closure, it is sowing spectacular social unrest…
Bejondeiel. Let us not forget that the Western media has never given the floor to the real godfather of this strategy, Dr Zhong Nanshan (which is not the invention of Mr Xi Jinping or Mrs Sun Chunlan). If Dr Zhong and his rapporteurs had any doubts, I would have cleared them of what they have seen in recent months in Taiwan so close.
In the spring of this year, Mrs Tsai’s government decided to leave the same zero strategy, which had been quite demanding for two years, and to start with the “coexistence strategy”. The reason, we leave it for another occasion. Result: More than 10,000 deaths since May to date. And adding about 50 more daily, right now. More than 90% of the population is vaccinated.
Considering that the population of Taiwan is 1/60 of that of China, a simple multiplication suggests what would happen if the same were done in China. But also, given that the local health system is considerably weaker than Taiwan, and the level of vaccination is also somewhat lower (especially among older people), it is quite clear that total rejection of the zero-covid-19 strategy would bring the death of two or three million Chinese in a few months.
The directors of the “secure” propaganda orchestra know this. But it looks like they're people of zero scruples.
