According to the journal Mendixut, a new partnership for environmental protection in the Pyrenees will soon be held. In particular, it will be set up to defend the Salazar River and its presentation will probably take place around June. At the moment, no name or image has been given to the association: "We had enough to invent a name, but since we are the names we have chosen to say something and share that determination with the majority of the citizens," the promoters of the association explained.
The initiative seeks the conservation and improvement of the river and its implementation aims to "be useful for the entire region". To this end, they want to commit the municipalities and associations found in the Pyrenean valleys.
