The multinational Gestamp has announced the closure of two floors and the dismissal of 230 workers in Zamudio (Bizkaia), the company has reported. Last Tuesday he announced his intention to close two of his eleven jobs in Euskal Herria. The company claims losses in the first half of the year: They have given a figure of EUR 120 million, referring to the situation created by COVID-19. In recent years, this company based in Abadiño (Bizkaia) has grown considerably: It has 112 workplaces and 43,000 workers. It also has plants in Bizkaia, Erandio, Gallarta, Derio and Muskiz.
