Xabi Tximeno Inza has been in prison since 1995. He was arrested in France, where he was held for several years. Since his arrest, the Donostiarra prisoner has gone through prisons such as Baiona, Fleury, Fresnes, Uzerche, Limoges, Soto, Navalcarnero, Valdemoro, Picassent, Villena, Zaballa, Nanclares and Burgos. The supporters of the march have denounced that if he had been counted for the penalty imposed in France, he would have left prison since 2016.
