After three weeks without mobilisation, the opposition represented by Guaidó has been launched again. This highlights the role of the media around the world, as both – opposition and the media – share a common strategy: Delegitimize the constitutional president and that a person who proclaimed himself in a plaza as such is presented to the whole world as an "all-powerful president." It seems surreal, but above all irresponsible, knowing that political and military power is in the hands of the Chavists. They know that, moreover, the political solution is not going to come if the Chavists are not excluded.
It cannot be denied that the opposition has strength, but the President of the Assembly symbolises the division that has historically suffered the opposition, especially since the request for military intervention. This provokes a social rejection, including the opponents, which gradually empties the “Guaidó phenomenon”. On the other hand, Guaidó’s opposition has not been able to take advantage of and manage the “electricity crisis” and the small mobilisations organised these days are a sign of this.
It's interesting to see Guaidó's message. Unlike all other Venezuelan politicians, his speech seems to be that of a foreigner – for example, the mood or lack of touch typical of Venezuela – his words seem to be written thousands of kilometres away from the country. In any case, Guaidó’s conversations are not about the level that is going to happen in history.
It seems that the situation can change and the country’s policy will start from scratch. The circle of the thesis that "all options are on the table" announced by the United States closes with new scenarios. Probably the strongest or at least stronger options than the current situation.
Among these possible scenarios, the situation on the border with Colombia can play the most important role. In recent weeks, for example, the paramilitary groups demobilized as a result of the peace process in Colombia have created numerous problems, especially in the state of Tachira, where the control of the Venezuelan military forces is not total. On the other hand, one must look at the attempts to infiltrate the paramilitary groups active in Colombia. The attitude of the guerrillas - ELN or FARC - that have just emerged from the failed peace process in Colombia can be decisive not only for the Bolivarian revolution but also for the continental Bolivarian project.
The current situation requires a thorough analysis of what is behind titles, demonstrations, the manipulated dissemination of some facts, the dark concealment of others and the disguised propaganda of analysis in most mainstream media. The situation requires that superficial... [+]

I don't really like the military. Especially in capitalist and career states. However, there are those who carry within the wishes of the people and have committed themselves to... [+]
