On July 16, the "Virus, Dystopia and New Worlds" course organized by UEU and Jakin
- UEU 48 As part of the Summer Courses, the online registration to the Jakin Conference, to be held on 16 July in Usurbil, is still open, as there are free places, as the UEU has warned. The conference will be held at Ikastola Udarrangi.
"The COVID-19 virus has created panic and terror has spread through dystopian reality and dystopia is going to be 'a new normalcy'." During this time, the hidden scaffolding of the system, the structural errors and the fragility of myths and beliefs have emerged to the surface: socio-political rights in quarantine, the only authority in force, the chaos of information and the spread of lies, the overexploitation of nature, the precariousness of life. And against this, a wave of solidarity among people: specific structures to respond to social injustice, new collaborations between the public and the common and speeches and practices to think and undertake another society".
The meeting on 16 July organised by UEU, City Hall and Jakin will focus on all issues.
