Cycling from Valladolid (Spanish state) to Barakaldo from 15 to 30 July, with the objective of sustainable, social and structuring mobility for a cooler planet. This year’s edition will be the thirteenth and Ekologistak Martxan has expressed his willingness to repeat the great success of previous years.
Castilla y León, the south of Cantabria and Bizkaia will tour Castilla y León to demonstrate that the bicycle is an effective, healthy and sustainable means of transport. They emphasize that in Euskal Herria they will pay “special attention”.
They point out that in the future active mobility must become more important. They believe that the railways should again be the main means of transport, among others, to cool the planet.
Route of the march
On Friday 28 they will enter Euskal Herria, specifically in Balmaseda. That day they will pass through Balmaseda, Muskiz and Barakaldo (40km). The following day, from Barakaldo to Bilbao, the tour will take place (30km), where the farewell will be held. On the last day, however, a greeting will be held in Barakaldo.
