This Wednesday, day 8, will begin for five days the Liho of the words of 2023 in Oiartzun (Gipuzkoa). Utopia will be the central axis of this year’s edition and art and culture will also be “essential friends”, according to the organizers. “Changing requires imagining: analyzing and criticizing the society we know, speculating about what is possible, describing possible futures, provoking reflection,” they add. The program consists of nine acts from different disciplines: literature, reflection, music, analysis, bertso, criticism, creativity, theater, plastic arts...
This year’s edition will be the sixth and will aim to provide culture with “another place”. Last weekend they have already made the “first aperitif” of this sixth edition: with the children they have painted a mural on the stairs of the Plaza del Concejo de Oiartzun, led by Maitri Ugalde, looking at the utopia, looking at the “people of dreams”, what do we dream of Oiartzun? under the slogan. It is an activity carried out with seeds.
