Urkullu says they test people with symptoms, but is it true?
- Lehendakari, Iñigo Urkullu, has said through social media that medical tests are carried out on those affected by the coronavirus. He has received answers from many citizens to report that he lies.

A new critique comes to Urkullu from a health workforce profile. Aitor Montes has said that doctors tell patients that they will not be tested and that they take responsibility for it. Urkullu said that saying that is "discrediting" your profession. It reaffirms its personal health version, adding that no tests are done and that they are monitored by telephone.

Criticism has also come from other sectors. Urkullu, for its part, has valued the work of Osakidetza and the Basque Government in this area. He explained that crisis management has been carried out with total transparency and with the largest purchase of health equipment to date.
As for the tests, he explained that they are performed on those who have symptoms to better understand the reality of the epidemic. He added that the Basque Autonomous Community is the European territory that has tested the most per million inhabitants, and that it has to have "a higher contagion rate than other autonomous regions of the State".
