1.- First of all, we would like to applaud the initiative of the young people, because we consider legitimate the occupation of the old Orixe Ikastola building that has been empty and abandoned for the past 12 years, among other things because the City Hall has not given any response to a request of this kind that the Youth Assembly of the Old Party called for since the time of Uxategi. The occupation of the Orixe building is not an illegal initiative of a private individual to obtain an economic benefit, but a direct, diverse and broad action, for the use of a public space that was abandoned for social purposes.

2.- Secondly, we join the proposal made by the Association of Neighbors of the Old Party, so we also call on the Municipal Government to constitute a working table as soon as possible, where the agents and technicians and municipal officials of the neighborhood will meet to find solutions to the needs of the neighbors and neighbors and among them, primarily, agree the Gazautxe and Etautxe.

3.- Thirdly, we make a direct appeal to Mayor Eneko Goia not to initiate or implement any police or legal action against the gaztetxe and for the Municipal Police to move away from those repressive avenues and actions, especially before seeing what the dialogue process can bring. The word must be given the opportunity.

4.- Fourthly, we appeal to all political and economic representatives, as Judge Biurrun rightly said, that, among the various projects that can be carried out in the Orixe building, the City Hall decide and launch the Gaztetxe.

5. Fifthly, we wish to emphasize the importance of the conjugation between the youth movement and the dynamics of the labour movement. In the face of the capitalist model, we wish to stress the importance of bringing these two sectors together in the struggle for democracy and socialism. When experience and illusion come together, transformation becomes impossible. Because today’s youth is going to be the working class of tomorrow, we want to stress that the Gaztetxe is also the house of the working class.

6.- We appeal to all citizens of the Old Party and also to all Donostiarras to support the Orixe Gaztetxe, accompanying young people whenever they need it, participating in their initiatives.

7.- Finally, if there are ever repressive aggressions, to come and deal with police aggression through disobedience without violence, making it clear that they are the only ones who use violence.
