The Cluster of Sociolinguistics and the UPV/EHU organize the Txillardegi-Pentsartu Prize in tribute to the Basque sociolinguist Jose Luis Alvarez Enparantza Txillardegi.
The objective is to influence the development and innovation of Basque theoretical and methodological sociolinguistics. Boost the work of researchers and bring us closer to the Basque socio-linguistic area.
The awards will be able to present research and reflection on the sociolinguistics of the Basque Country, always on a scientific basis. The first prize will consist of €2,000 and a lithograph by José Luis Zumeta, the second €1,300 and the third €1,000.
The deadline for the submission of the research work will be 16 September. Here you have the bases.
