From Chile to Euskal Herria, globalized injustice
- The unfair distribution of inequality and wealth, precariousness and miserable pensions are not just for Euskal Herria, but we find them all over the world.
In the French State, Ecuador and Chile are also mobilizing against the anti-social economic measures being taken. Hundreds of wounded, dozens dead, thousands arrested.

Faced with this, Capitalism wants to “reinvent” itself in order to keep accumulating profits. The Spanish newspaper El País dedicated five pages to the cracks of the system – Capitalism has died. Long live capitalism!–: “The hegemonic model is running out of response to the challenges posed by social inequalities, climate change and globalisation. Experts propose reinventing themselves so that they continue to govern the planet.”
Despite reinvention, capitalism will not fail to be the real cause of poverty and death. According to the Bank of Spain, in the Spanish State there are 979,000 rich with a capital of between one million and five million dollars, including the citizens of Hego Euskal Herria, which in 2018 have increased by 33,000, by 5.3%.
