Siemens-Gamesa, Sunsunsundegui, BSH, Tasubinsa... and now Nano Automotive. The industry in Navarre has become synonymous with bad news in recent weeks, and the last to confirm this has been the plant in the automotive sector in Tudela. The company’s management has announced that it has already begun the procedures for entering the bankruptcy law, so it will dismiss 120 employees.
Since the beginning of the year, several sections of the plant have been gradually closed and temporary regulation files have been established for their workers, as the company’s committee recently explained. In November 2023, Nano Automotive was also in a serious situation of closure, as the manager of the competition at the time did not accept the viability report drawn up by the management and proposed the liquidation of the company.
The business committee of Nano Automotive has called for mobilisation in the meeting held on Tuesday, which will take place on Friday in Tudela and will participate in the mobilisation on Sunday in defense of the Navarrese industry, in Pamplona, together with the business committees of the seven plants that have just closed.
