The Ertzaintza has arrested in Vitoria-Gasteiz a man accused of raping two minors, who filed a complaint for sexual assault. According to the information received by El Correo, the man, over 40 years old, is responsible for a bar in the Old Town of the city. The events occurred on the night of Wednesday to Thursday at the premises where the two suspects were.

Three underage girls were in the facility when the man informed them that it was time for closure. After lowering the blinds, the attendant suggested that they stop at the bar. One of the young people left, but the other two stayed at the place.

According to their testimonies, they resigned to several of the proposals made by the owner of the tavern. Then the man offered the girls alcohol and at one point both lost consciousness. When they woke up, they remember the man was raping.

Once the meaning had been restored, they left the bar. They called 112 and were treated at the hospital. On Thursday morning, at the police station, the vote was taken. Today, Friday, the detainee will be brought to justice.

A similar attack in May

In May, a nightclub worker from Vitoria-Gasteiz was charged with raping a 15-year-old girl.
