Fireworks in 52 prisons at the same time for prisoners
- Fireworks were carried out on Saturday night in 52 prisons in the Spanish and French states of the Basque Autonomous Community. More than 120 entrepreneurs have participated in the initiative.
The solidarity initiative has been disseminated through a video published on Twitter by the organizers. The images show the preparation of the action and the moment when fireworks are switched on next to prisons. Over 120 people have participated in the striking weekend mobilisation, 52 prisons have been illuminated with 100 kg of rockets and 58,694 kilometres have travelled for this type of travel. The initiative sought to transfer Basque political prisoners a “straitjacket of solidarity” and to demand their freedom.
