The major unions in Hego Euskal Herria have joined in the initiative for the rights of prisoners and resumed mobilizations against COVID-19. ELA, LAB, UGT, ESK, Steilas, LKN, CNT, EHNE, HIRU and Etxalde have advocated "another penitentiary policy to bring all Basque prisoners closer within a reasonable time". The concentration was held at 11:30 hours in Plaza Moyua in Bilbao.

All of this, in the opinion of the trade unions, should be targeted "towards exclusion" from the emergency legislation.
